Staying for a short transit visit, I appreciated the beautiful lakefront walk that led into town, making for a scenic route. The bed was really comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay after a busy day exploring the nearby nature spots. It's worth mentioning that despite being a bit far from the center of El Calafate, the morning breakfast spread was impressive and a great value. Overall, the experience was solid, but there are areas for improvement.

i thought i woudl be pampered at this so-called luxury hotel, but alas, the rude receptionist made check-in an ordeal. not to mention the pool was broken and i was charged full price—how generous! i expected a complimentary upgrade or at least some consideration given the circumstances. do not recommend this inferior establishment.
